ten2match

  • Game-based career orientation platform connecting young people with professions and local companies
  • Mini-games and interest profiling help young people discover their strengths and career interests
  • Developed for Landkreis Haßberge as a digital addition to its career-orientation speed dating event

For Landkreis Haßberge, we are developing ten2match, a game-based career orientation platform that combines mini-games, interest profiling and profession matching to help young people discover suitable career paths and local companies.

The Challenge

Young people often habe only a limited idea of which professions might suit their interests and strengths. At the same time, local companies need effective ways to reach potential trainees and make the professions visible.

Landkreis Haßberge is looking for a new approach to career orientation that connects these two sides while making the process more engaging for young people. The platform is designed to complement the district’s annual career-orientation speed dating and support young people before, during and beyond the event.

Our Approach

We are developing ten2match as a playful digital career-orientation experience rather than a conventional questionnaire.

Young people explore the platform through a series of mini-games designed around different skills and abilities, such as logical thinking, creativity, memory, spatial reasoning or reaction speed. Together with an interest questionnaire, their interactions contribute to an individual profile that is used to recommend suitable professions.

These recommendations are connected to local companies and their training opportunities, creating a direct link between discovering a profession and exploring potential employers.

We are developing the platform iteratively. The 2026 career-orientation speed dating serves as a pilot, allowing us to test the experience with young people under real-world conditions and use their feedback and behavior to guide the further development of the platform.

ten2match connects the individual interests with real professions and local companies, helping create more direct connections between young people and the regional job market.

The current development focuses on getting the core experience ready for the 2026 pilot. The insights gained during the pilot will then inform the further development and full rollout planned for 2027.
